I teach monthly macaron classes at the gorgeous Miele Gallery in central London. Classes are roughly three hours long and are limited to 10 students per date, giving you a much more intimate and hands on experience.

I also run a quarterly day long baking class at the same location, each class is based around the season so summery or winter baking etc. These are 5 hour long classes and there is always lots of baking for you to take home, the classes are relaxed and a lot of fun but you will also learn a lot too, you can find the full details for the next class here.

The Macaron classes start with me showing you exactly how to make the perfect macarons – giving you all the tips and tricks you need to ensure success. Then it’ll be time for you to put your new skills to the test and make some delicious macarons for yourself!

There’ll be plenty of nibbles, tea, coffee and soft drinks available to you all night, as well as a glass of bubbly if you fancy it! At the end of the class, you’ll get to take home your tasty creations, recipes from the evening and a few macarons made by myself.

Tickle your taste buds? Classes can be booked above or direct on

Looking forward to seeing you there!

Been to one of my classes? Let me know what you thought in the comments section below and if you have any photos of your triumphs do post those too!

  1. Congratulations Edd and best of luck with your class. I tasted my first Macaron a fortnight ago (a birthday treat) and now I’m hooked! They are sweet little sandwiches of scrumptiousness. I’m definitely going to have to book a place on your course.

    Hi Edd,

Random comment I know, and probably one that can’t be answered, but I’ll be in London on holiday (from Australia) at the end of June next year – do you think you might still be running courses then? I’d love to come along to one if you are, as I love baking and it would make for a unique holiday experience!

Your Macaroon making class was amazing. I had a fantastic time at the class. Of course, not to mention what a great advice you gave us in such a short time to make a better macaroons.
I served all the macaroons I made at your class to my colleague. They all loved it.

    Thank you.

    Hi Edd,

I’m attending your course Thursday 3rd October but my email seems to have somehow deleted the email sent containing my tickets. Do I need these? or can they be resent?……..looking forward to it :O) See you Thusday.

  11. Lucie Holkham says:

    Hi Eddie,
Sorry I don’t think I received a recipe after the macaron class 3rd of October. Could you resend it to me, many thanks Lucie :0)

  12. Lucie Holkham says:

    Hi again Edd,
Thanks again for the great macaron recipie, they are delicious! I’m just having problems baking any light colours. If the oven temp is low enough for them not to start browning they rise on their feet, but then deflate back down. If any higher the colour is not kept on the macaron when baked? I have a fan assisted oven that I cook on the baking mode as to have a gentler heat for at least 10 minutes to cook through. Darker colours I can cook on 150 degrees for this time and they come out lovely. I have tried so many different heat and cooking settings with no joy. Wondered if you have any useful tips for me I could try.
    Thanks Edd. Lucie
